How to Play

1. How do I start a Solitaire game?: The game begins with 28 cards dealt into seven columns (the tableau). The first column has one card, the second has two, and so on. Only the top card of each column is face-up. The remaining cards form the "stock" pile.
2. What is the main goal of the game?: The objective is to move all cards to the four empty "foundation" slots at the top. You must build these piles by suit in ascending order, starting with the Ace and ending with the King.
3. How do I move cards within the columns?: You can move face-up cards to create sequences in descending order and alternating colors. For example, you can place a red 6 on a black 7, or a black Jack on a red Queen.
4. What happens when a column is empty?: In classic solitaire, only a King (or a sequence starting with a King) can be moved into an empty space on the tableau.
5. When should I use the stock pile?: When you can no longer move any cards on the board, click the stock pile to draw new cards. These cards provide additional options to help you continue building sequences or foundations.
6. How do I win the game?: You win when all cards have been successfully moved from the tableau and stock pile into the four foundation piles, sorted by suit from $A$ to $K$.
